Susannah Ortiz

Mental Health Intern

Susannah joined the Hope and Healing Center & Institute in August of 2022 as a second-year Mental Health Intern. She is currently earning her Masters of Social Work from Louisiana State University, and has a BA in Psychology from the University of Houston. Susannah’s clinical interests are individual and group therapy, and the impact of childhood trauma in adulthood. Born and raised in Canada, she has called Houston home for the past 20 years. Susannah’s hobbies include reading, cooking, music, and shuttling her children to and from their various activities.
