About this Event
The Chrysalis Luncheon is a celebration of healing, growth, and new beginnings. Just like a butterfly’s transformation, the Hope and Healing Center & Institute helps individuals move from a place of struggle to a place of strength. This event honors the courage it takes to heal and the power of community to support lasting change.
Our Keynote Speaker
Earl Campbell rose to football stardom as a Hall of Fame running back, earning the Heisman Trophy at the University of Texas and becoming one of the most dominant players of his era with the Houston Oilers. Behind the accolades, however, he battled a devastating painkiller addiction born from years of physical toll on the field. In his keynote address, Earl shares his journey of resilience and recovery, using his story to advocate for stronger mental and physical health support for athletes and to help the next generation of players stay healthy on and off the field.
