Speaker: Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale, Ph.D., LCSW, MBA

Elizabeth McIngvale, Ph.D., LCSW, MBA is the Director of the OCD Institute of Texas, Co-Founder of the Mental Health Network and Treatment Institute (MHNTI), and adjunct faculty at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. McIngvale is an internationally recognized authority on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), has published over 35 peer-reviewed journal articles, contributed to multiple textbook chapters, and is a frequent expert for national media, panels, and conferences.

Diagnosed with OCD at age 12, Dr. McIngvale draws from both her professional expertise and lived experience in her advocacy, clinical, and research work. Her efforts focus on improving access to evidence-based treatment, reducing mental health stigma, and advancing education and policy in OCD and anxiety disorders. Known for her bold public advocacy and engaging speaking style, Dr. McIngvale has received numerous awards for her leadership and continues to be a trusted voice in the field of OCD treatment and awareness. Dr. McIngvale lives her life mission of increasing access to treatment, eliminating stigma, and using her voice to educate the public everyday.
