Mental Healthcare Within Reach

Enrique was looking for a way out of the pain.

To everyone around him, Enrique was the happy-go-lucky guy. A husband. A father. An elementary school teacher. But behind the scenes, Enrique was struggling with severe depression and the pain of childhood trauma that had never been addressed. And when he was alone, things were very different.

"It didn’t just save my life; it saved my marriage. I didn’t want to die. Now I get to live and help others.

Amber was winning on the outside. On the inside, she was broken.

She believed in God. She believed in prayer. Then her twin brother – whom she loved deeply – told her he was going to take his own life. Later, he died by suicide. Amber buried her twin brother, and she had to keep going.

"I’m so much lighter. I’m so much better. I’m in such a better place."

Amber

And she found mental health care that can meet her and her faith where she was at the Hope and Healing Center & Institute.

See how Amber’s faith helped her persevere through her mental health recovery.
