V.P. of Philanthropy
Will joined the staff of the Hope and Healing Center & Institute (HHCI) in July, 2020. Prior to joining the HHCI, Will served in various leadership and frontline philanthropic roles in San Antonio including his involvement with a successful $86 million dollar comprehensive campaign. Most recently as Chief Development Officer of a social services agency, Will served in a key role for the strategic planning process and oversaw the expansion of the Development program to include increases in support and engagement from individuals, faith communities, corporations, as well as foundations.
In his current role as Vice President of Philanthropy at the HHCI, Will provides leadership, coordination and implementation for all fundraising strategies, all while advancing the mission, vision, and values of the HHCI throughout Greater Houston and beyond.
Additionally, Will enjoys spending time mentoring other development professionals and non-profits on strategy and relationship building. With his experience, Will is currently working on his first book for the philanthropic professional and has spoken to various groups on topics surrounding the difference facets of philanthropy. Will is a third generation Houstonian and graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their three dogs, the outdoors, and volunteering in his community.
