Marlena Nip

Mental Health Intern

Marlena joined the Hope and Healing Center & Institute in August 2022 as a Mental Health Intern. She has her BA in Political Science and minor in Environmental Studies from Loyola Marymount University. Marlena is currently working toward earning her MSW from the University of Houston. Prior to entering the social work field, Marlena worked in the education field as a garden educator and school administrator. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, being outdoors, spending time with her chickens, and cooking from her garden.
