Don Ballard
Chief Operating Officer
Don joined the staff at HHCI in February 2021. Prior to joining HHCI, he served as President/CEO for City Service Mission (CSM). CSM is a youth service learning and leadership development organization working in urban areas across the USA with more than 5,000 students annually engaged in community outreach. Don has a background in non-profit leadership in both community and congregational settings. He enjoys coaching leaders, both in the church and in community settings, towards more effective strategies and solutions for their teams.
Don completed his education at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Theology. He also completed degree programs from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Post Graduate certificate from Rice University in Executive Leadership. He serves on the faculty at Indiana Wesleyan University’s School of Leadership and Service teaching in the Masters of Public Administration program.
Don is married to Jamie Ballard and together they have raised three children – Davis, Drew, and Julia. Initially from the Nashville area, they have lived and led in Tennessee, Mississippi, Ohio, and Texas.
