DESCRIPTION:This Lunch and Learn educational event will  discuss Cognitive Wellness and Mental Health.\n\n\nTraining Overview\nWe’ll explore the dynamic relationship between cognitive wellness and mental health through a science-based\, preventative lens. Participants will learn how mental health conditions and life stressors can affect cognitive abilities such as attention\, memory\, and decision-making—and how strengthening cognitive function can\, in turn\, support mental well-being. \nThrough guided discussion and applied learning\, participants will gain practical strategies to support cognitive wellness across personal and community settings. \nPresenter\nMadeline Stiers\, Ph.D.\, LCSW-SChief Clinical Officer\, Hope and Healing Center & Institute \nLearning Focus\nThis training provides a framework for understanding: \n\nThe scientific connection between cognitive function and mental health.\nHow daily habits\, stress\, and lifestyle factors impact brain performance and emotional well-being.\nEvidence-based strategies that protect cognitive health and support resilience across the lifespan.\n\nLearning Objectives\nBy the end of this training\, participants will be able to: \n\nUnderstand how daily habits can enhance long-term brain health.\nRecognize the impact of life stressors and lifestyle choices on cognitive performance and mental well-being.\nUnderstand how evidence-based strategies can protect cognitive health and build resilience.\n\nContinuing Education\nLicensed Mental Health Providers may earn up to 1.0 CE hour.
