ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This training uses brain-based research and images to help counselors and community leaders understand the impact of trauma on actions, emotions, physical well-being and cognitive abilities. Trauma is a whole-body experience and must be addressed to achieve wellness. This CEU event is geared towards Mental Health Professionals.
1.5 CEUs offered for LPC, LMFT, LCSW, and Clinical Psychologist.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Heather Lambert, LPC
Heather Lambert has 17 years of experience as a classroom teacher, school counselor, Lead counselor, school administrator and a 504 coordinator. Heather is a licensed professional counselor and a certified trauma specialist. She has founded and directs two group counseling practices in the Pasadena area. Heather is a sought-after trainer and speaker helping local school districts, community organizations, and public health facilities become more trauma informed as we seek to inspire hope and healing for those who are impacted by trauma and loss.
