Support HHCI TodayJoin Dr. Peggy Determeyer, Seth Stander, and Dr. Andy Achenbaum for the Soulful Aging Series continuing March 22 at 10 a.m.
We, who experience so many celebrations and sorrows in a lifetime, can become “more” than we were before. We are more aware that heartfelt loving and openness about suffering bracket “soulful aging.” In the process, we become more resilient as we adapt to the joys, pains, and paradoxes of late life; wiser and humbler, as we engage in the challenges of life review and life repair. We are all growing on inward pathways to authentic hope and restorative healing as we live into death.
If sharing your integral stories of patience, forgiving, compassion, dignity, and loneliness sounds intriguing, then please join us at the Hope and Healing Center & Institute from 10:00-11:00, on Tuesdays: February 8, February 22, March 8, and March 22. Your facilitators are Peggy Determeyer (Director, Community Bioethics and Aging Center), Seth Stander (Community Aging Specialist, Community Bioethics and Aging Center), and Andy Achenbaum (Professor Emeritus, Consortium on Aging, Texas Medical Center).
