Join us for an introduction to using play therapy with your younger clients (and maybe their older relatives, too!). This 90-minute presentation will include a description of what play therapy is, what it isn’t, and some ideas for adding it to your practice.

This CEU event is geared towards Mental Health Professionals.

CEU Credit Hours Available: 1.5 Hours

Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning.  Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.

Lynn McLean, LCSW-S, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, Child & Family Psychotherapy, Parent Coaching

Lynn is a child and family therapist in Houston, Texas. After beginning her career more than 20 years ago at Texas Children’s Hospital, she founded her own practice, Houston Family Therapy Associates, in 2004. After educating professionals and interns at Small Steps Nurturing Center in a weekly play therapy seminar she wrote and presented, Lynn decided to expand the trainings and offer them online to help other clinicians. In addition to developing and presenting material through her company, Learn Play Therapy, she has presented play therapy education at her alma mater, the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, at the University of St. Thomas, to private groups and at public schools, and in online webinars.
