The following CEU event is geared towards Mental Health Professionals:
Many clinicians are faced with culturally diverse clients who struggle with their religious or spiritual beliefs in therapy. This presentation will describe what addressing religion in therapy sessions looks like through a multicultural framework. Mental health professionals will learn how to navigate conversations with religiously diverse clients in an ethical and competent manner.

About the Speaker
Madeline Stiers, LCSW, Director of Clinical Services, Hope and Healing Center & Institute
Madeline joined the Hope and Healing Center & Institute as a Mental Health Coach in 2014. In January, 2018 she became our Director of Clinical Services. She has a Masters of Social Work, Clinical from the University of Houston and a BA in Psychology from Baylor University. She is currently working on a PhD in Social Work at Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University. Madeline’s interests include chronic mental health issues, trauma, intersection of faith and practice, and supervision.
