ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Gain information about attachment theory as it relates to substance using clients, utilize attachment theory to better understand and enhance the therapeutic alliance, and learn techniques to engage clients in substance use treatment and 12-step support. This CEU event is geared towards Mental Health Professionals.
1.5 CEUs offered for LPC, LMFT, LCSW, and Clinical Psychologist.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to the program beginning. Due to video filming, late attendees will be asked to view the presentation in the Green Room.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Beth Eversole, LCSW, LCDC
Beth pursued her undergraduate education in Social Work and Psychology at Radford University and received her advanced graduate degree in Social Work at The University of Houston. Concentrating on organizational culture, systems behavior, and clinical social work Beth has a vast array of experiences. Finishing her Clinical internships with Baylor College of Medicine and The Council on Recovery Houston, she then went to pursue clinical licensure at The Menninger Clinic. Since her tenure there, Beth worked at a local outpatient treatment center as the Director of Clinical Services. Her objective is to build compassionate relationships through which she, the team and client navigate to create options for the road to recovery.
