Build Your Family Code: Prevention Tools to Use in Counseling Kids & Teens

Join Dr. Crystal Collier as she hosts a workshop for clinicians to learn prevention principles for child/teen high-risk behavior.

Speaker: Crystal Collier, PhD, LPC-S, Former Hope and Healing Center & Institute Murphy-Petersen Behavioral Health Fellow, Author of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide: A Neurodevelopmental Guide for Parents and Families Who Want to Prevent Youth High-Risk Behavior

Dr. Crystal Collier, author of The NeuroWhereAbouts Guide, will show counselors how to build a family code that can be used as a developmental prevention tool. Counselors will learn prevention science tools and parenting techniques to teach their clients from early childhood to college. Kids are exposed to a myriad of high-risk behaviors in our digital world earlier than kids from previous generations. The brain-based tools found in the NeuroWhereAbouts Guide will empower clinicians to equip their clients with the information and skills they need!
